Spy pics of Skatecity

Here's a couple of shots I took from my visit to Skatecity the other night (that's Harlem Hotshot Levi Wilson killing the quarter). The only obstacle you can't see in these photos is the mini ramp behind the bowl corner. The park area is done, but they're still working on lavatories as well as an area to hangout and conduct day to day business activities. That said, the park is not officially open, but they are allowing people to ride from 7:00 pm until, for $10. The funds raised are going towards the completion of the facility. Here's a map to the park. So grab your BMX, or MTB, and come...

Drew, that is not your best side. Nice blog! I have one for my French students, but you probably wouldn't be interested. Question for bloggers: how do you get kids to get interested in riding again? They haven't ridden their bikes in a long time. I threatened to give them to the needy (bikes, not kids), but am not sure that's the best approach...

This place looks awesome! Time to get back into BMX again. Best of all, it's about 2 minutes from my apartment.
